New Entrants
~ The one and only Debut this week is by the one and only Taylor Swift with You Need To Calm Down. I actually appreciate Taylor celebrating pride, and making a great song to show that she really cares. I don't expect this to get VERY far, but it may have a chance at atleast the top 5.
Blurbians
- I'm super freaking excited that Nightmare, my favorite song on the countdown (and everywhere), jumped to #2. After I heard Who Do You Love at #3 I knew that Shawn Mendes was going to get #1 because of his newest Collab with Camilla Cabello, so I didn't expect her to get #1, but I'm still super excited.
- People have finally decided to let Sucker go. They honestly did not and do not deserve to have #1 13 weeks in a row thus making them the longest song at #1 in history. I'm pretty sure this is due to them reforming together, but man did this station and these people stuff this song down our throats.
- Actually saddened that Out Of Love dropped out when it should have been songs like 7 Rings, Close To Me, and most definitely Flexible. Sorry Alessia, I tried
- I'm still wondering how one of Billie Eilish's superb songs is lingering at the bottom 3, well I mean it's pretty old.. but it's a better song than bury a friend, I think.
- Ciara takes the biggest drop this week after taking the biggest jump last week. Not surprising, that's how Hits 1 fans work. The song is fine, but I think it's really repetitive.
- So Am I & If We Have Each Other are both amazing songs. I love So Am I much better than Sweet But Psycho, even if it sounds similar. It may just be the lyrics and the vocals. If We Have Each Other is a great song, because Alec makes the song into a story. Let Me Down Slowly is holding in, but it will drop more soon enough.
- Such a dissappointment from Bazzi. Debuts, then continues to fall the second consecutive week. Wouldn't be surprise that it drops out next weekend. The song and production is great, but I guess it's not good enough.
Thank you for taking your time and reading!
